Eva Tanner EDT EDH OM BBP

Eva started in Dentistry at the age of 15 working for a friend of the family. Then on completing A levels, she went to King’s College Hospital to train and then work as a Dental Nurse. In 1997, she qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist from the St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, gaining awards for the best clinical Dental Therapist and highest dental hygiene examination results.

Since qualifying as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 1997, she has worked in a private practice and cared for clients from a direction of Prevention, Education and Minimal intervention (PEMi). Since 2003, Eva has helped to support and evolve an orthodontic/TMD clinic and associated protocols. Over the years she has worked closely with Dentists, Orthodontists, Oral Surgeons, Cranial Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, Biomechanists, Bowen Integrated Therapy practitioners, respiratory specialists, nutritionists, cell biologists, immunologists and neurologists.

With the small body of practitioners now providing myofunctional care in the UK, she is pleased to be one of the founding members of the British Society of Myofunctional Therapy. Eva is also a member of The British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy, The British Association of Dental Therapists, The International Association of Orofacial Myology and the International College of Applied Kinesiology.
