My background is as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist and I qualified at Kings College University London over 10 years ago. I have worked mainly within NHS dentistry and have spent several years as an Oral Hygienist in hospitals, working with people undergoing head and neck cancer treatment as well as children having Orthodontic work.

As a chronic asthmatic and mouth breather for over 30 years, my life has been transformed by being introduced to the Buteyko Technique and I am now symptom and medication free! I went on to take the Buteyko Instructor course with Patrick Mckeown at the Buteyko International Clinic in London.
Although breathing function is vital, I realised that years of poor muscle and tongue function had also influenced my health and that of my children. Poor oral function is something I see with many people that I treat. After undertaking a post graduate course with the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT), I am now a fully certified practitioner.
Although originally from London, I now live in Gloucestershire.
