I work in the Unit of Functional Neurosurgery at Queen Square, London. My position is both clinical and research, treating patients with movement disorders for speech and swallowing difficulties. In particular, my area of expertise is the assessment and treatment of individuals with Parkinson’s disease and Dystonia who have undergone deep brain stimulation treatment and who are experiencing difficulties with their speech. My research interest is the treatment of deep brain stimulation-associated speech deficits and hypomimia. Other areas of clinical expertise include Dystonia, Functional Neurological speech Difficulties, and Tardive dyskinesia.
