Originally qualified 1986 from Manchester University , decided to move to the north east and took a job as an associate in Billingham . Worked within an NHS environment for the first ten years but wanted to move to a more integrated model of patient care and so went fully Private from the NHS model in 1996. Ten years of part-time clinical assistant in orthodontics at a local hospital helped lead to a better understanding of where various dental disciplines cross over with varied agreement. Occlusion and TMJ function has been a passion and area of curiosity for over thirty years. The different schools of thought of occlusion and malocclusion have driven my education and knowledge, which continues to this day.
